Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is top of Roma’s January transfer list, according to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport.
The French international has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot at Anfield since his move from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013.
However, things were changing on the brighter side for Sakho, who is currently out injured, as new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp considers him as a vital part of his back four.
But still, Roma have not given up hopes of taking the 25-year-old to the Stadio Olimpico during the winter transfer window.
Sakho, whose present deal with Liverpool is set to expire in 2020, is a product of Paris Saint-Germain's youth set-up.
