Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado has backed his compatriot Radamel Falcao to get back to his best if he is given an extended run of games.

The striker, who joined the Blues from Monaco on a season-long loan deal in the summer, has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, owing to poor form and injuries.

The Colombian international has managed to score just one goal in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League giants.

However, Cuadrado, who is currently on a loan spell at Juventus, feels Falcao will be able to replicate his best form, which saw him become one of the most feared forwards in Europe during his time at FC Porto and Atletico Madrid.

"Once he gets his chance, we'll see him quickly back at his best”, Cuadrado was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca.

"Falcao has battled back from injury and not played very often, but we all know that he's a great player and an outstanding goalscorer."

Falcao also struggled during his loan spell at Manchester United last season, scoring just four goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.

The 29-year-old also 62 caps and 25 goals for Colombia to his name.
