Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson has been linked with a move to Leeds United.

The Whites are looking to draft in further players this month after securing Mustapha Carayol on loan and renewing Liam Bridcutt's loan, the latter involving dealing with Sunderland.

Links with Sunderland continue to pile up for Leeds, who recently saw their head of recruitment Martyn Glover leave for the a job at the Stadium of Light, working with Sam Allardyce.

According to Swedish daily Expressen, Leeds could again deal with Sunderland as there is talk that the Whites want to snap up Larsson on a loan deal.

The 30-year-old has slipped out of the first team picture at Sunderland and may be keen to play regular first team football elsewhere if his situation does not change.

So far this season Larsson has managed just 380 minutes of football in the Premier League for the Black Cats.

Whether Leeds are on the midfielder's tail remains to be seen, but Bridcutt also suffered from a lack of playing time at Sunderland and solved his problem by heading to Elland Road.

Larsson is under contract with Sunderland until the summer of 2017.
