Gedion Zelalem has revealed he will recommend playing under Mark Warburton at Rangers to other Arsenal youngsters if they have the chance to move to the Scottish club.

The midfielder, who joined the Gers on a loan deal until January in the summer from Arsenal, decided to extend his stay at Ibrox until the end of the season after speaking to Warburton this month.




And Zelalem insisted that Warburton has definitely played a key part in his development, with the 53-year-old not only helping him out on footballing aspects, but also checking up on him on matters off the pitch.

As a result, the 18-year-old explained that he will tell fellow Arsenal youngsters not to pass up on the opportunity to play under Warburton at Rangers, if the chance arises.
 


“I’ll definitely say experience it. They'll know what it's like playing for a big club”, Zelalem told Rangers TV when asked if he would recommend a loan move to Rangers to other Arsenal players.

“I will definitely recommend it. I will tell them all about it. I speak to all of them. Alex Iwobi, who played in the FA Cup the other day, I wished him good luck", the midfielder continued, before explaining how he would recommend working under Warburton.

"He helps you on a personal level, he asks you how you’re doing off the pitch.

“On the pitch he’ll help you a lot, he’ll give you advice, and take you to the side in training.

“So, definitely go for it.”

Although Zelalem is yet to find the back of the net for Rangers, the starlet has managed to make his mark at the club by setting up eight goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.
