Danny Graham wants to relaunch his career at Blackburn Rovers after what he claims has been a frustrating period at Sunderland.

The striker has completed a loan move to Ewood Park until the end of the season and is eyeing playing on a regular basis to prove his doubters wrong and shine for Paul Lambert's men in the Championship.

Graham feels with a series of loan stints away from Sunderland he was never given a run in the Black Cats side during which to establish himself.

And the 30-year-old is looking to put his frustrations behind him at Blackburn.

He told his new club's official site: "My time at Sunderland has been very frustrating, so for me to have a fresh challenge is superb.

"I’ve been out on loan a lot and I’ve never really had a solid run in the team, which would have been nice, but the key for me is something fresh, to move away from the North East and just concentrate on my football.

"Now that I know I’m here until the end of the season, I can get my head down, work hard in training and hopefully do well for this football club and move up the table.

"Like I said, it’s been a frustrating time at Sunderland, but now I can get back playing week-in week-out and prove a few people wrong."

Sunderland snapped Graham up from Swansea City in 2013, but he struggled to make his mark at the Stadium of Light and was sent out on loan spells with Hull City, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 30-year-old hitman could make his debut for Blackburn this coming weekend when Rovers lock horns with struggling Charlton Athletic at the Valley.
