Rangers Under-20s will face the bizarre prospect of lining up against a side wearing their kit this afternoon.

The young Gers are taking on St Johnstone later this afternoon at what is a wet and windy Murray Park.

However, while Rangers sport their usual blue home kit, St Johnstone will be wearing Rangers' red away shirts.

St Johnstone have been forced into the move after their kit man broke down en route to Murray Park, leaving them without a kit to wear.

Rangers Under-20 boss Ian Durrant can call upon first team goalkeeper Cammy Bell in his side, the injury-plagued shot-stopper in action for the first time since May.

Two other players regularly around the first team also start with midfielder Jordan Thompson and striker Ryan Hardie taking their places in the side.

Under-20s boss Durrant will be keen to see what rewards, if any, Rangers reap from having taken the youngsters on a warm weather training camp to Spain recently.

The youngsters played two games in Spain, winning one and losing the other.
