Chelsea striker Loic Remy has given priority to Newcastle United and Lille amongst the clubs chasing his signature, it has been claimed.

Due to his limited game time at Stamford Bridge, Remy has become an attractive proposition in the current transfer window for a number of sides.

And out of the clubs on his tail, Remy is keenest on Newcastle and Lille, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The France striker has good memories of his time spent at St. James' Park, but has not yet written off Lille, where he would again reunite with coach Frederic Antonetti, with whom he exploded onto the scene at Nice.

Remy is desperate to ensure regular first team football ahead of Euro 2016 and is in the process of assessing his options.
