Leeds United face an anxious wait to discover the extent of Chris Wood's hamstring injury.

The New Zealand international pulled up with a hamstring complaint in the 15th minute of Leeds' 1-1 draw away at Brentford last night, being replaced by Mirco Antenucci.

Wood had only just returned to the side from injury, being handed a start following an appearance off the bench last weekend against Bristol City.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Wood is set to have a scan on his hamstring tomorrow morning.

As such he is already doubtful for the Whites' FA Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Leeds boss Steve Evans will be crossing his fingers that Wood's injury is not serious as the striker has become a key man under the former Rotherham United manager.

Evans is hunting another striker in the current transfer window and a lengthy estimated absence for Wood may see him intensify his efforts before deadline day.
