Hearts winger Billy King is currently at Rangers' training base having a medical ahead of a move to the club.

Rangers are keen to add the 21-year-old to their ranks as they look to strengthen for the second half of the campaign, with promotion they key target for Gers boss Mark Warburton.

King, despite having featured regularly for Hearts, is now set to drop down a division to link up with Rangers on loan.

And according to the Press Association, King is currently having a medical at Murray Park ahead of putting pen to paper on a six-month loan deal.

Nothing has yet been signed by the winger though and it is unclear whether the agreement will contain an option for Rangers to keep King permanently should he impress.
