Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink cannot wait to see Alexandre Pato on the pitch.

The Brazil striker is linking up with Chelsea on a loan deal until the end of the season and Hiddink insists that despite the transfer window having just days to go, there is no rush.

Pato is currently in London, something Hiddink says the club could not keep secret, and now the final paperwork before the loan is being completed.

And the Dutch boss is looking forward to seeing Pato in action when the loan switch is done and dusted.

Hiddink told a press conference: "He was in London. He was well spotted. Nowadays there are no secrets because cameras are everywhere and we don't want to hide.

"But he is now in the process of paperwork, so we don't rush it and we'll see how soon it can be solved and how quickly he can go onto the pitch, which I'm waiting for."

Pato enjoyed a superb year with Sao Paulo, on loan from Corinthians, last year and is ready for another crack at European football following a spell with Italian giants AC Milan.

The Brazilian will be aiming to help Chelsea improve upon their poor Premier League campaign so far, which sees the Blues mired in the lower reaches of the table.
