New Chelsea signing Alexandre Pato has revealed that he has known Blues’ winger Willian from his childhood days and the two have been playing together since they were kids.

The 26-year-old former AC Milan striker has signed for the Blues on a six-month loan deal from Brazilian outfit Corinthians.




Pato spent 2015 on loan with Brasileirao outfit Sao Paulo from Corinthians and scored 26 goals in 56 appearances in all competitions.

The Brazilian striker had spent six years at Serie A giants AC Milan, notching up 63 goals in 150 appearances for the Rossoneri.
 


Pato has managed 27 appearances for the Brazilian national team since making his debut in 2008 and has scored 10 goals.

The 26-year-old has revealed that he is already familiar with Oscar, due to their involvement with the national team and has thrown light on his close friendship with Willian.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea TV, Pato said: “I know Willian, I have played with him since we were babies and in the Brazil national team.

“Oscar I play with him in the national team.

“Kennedy I [came to] know yesterday, but I saw him on TV.”

Chelsea travel to Stadium MK to take on MK Dons in the fourth round of the FA Cup and the Brazilian will be hoping to play some part in it.
