Seydou Doumbia is wanted by both Arsenal and Newcastle United in the final days of the winter transfer window.

The Ivorian is out of favour at current club Roma after returning to the side from a loan stint with Russian giants CSKA Moscow.

CSKA Moscow were keen to keep hold of Doumbia, but could not reach an agreement with Roma and now other clubs are moving in on the striker.

According to Italian daily Il Messaggero, both Arsenal and Newcastle have put out feelers over the availability of the Ivorian.

The Gunners and the Magpies are in the market to add another striker before the window slams shut and Doumbia appears to be a serious option for both clubs.
