CSKA Moscow have closed the door on selling Ahmed Musa, who has been linked with Manchester United and Leicester City, in the current transfer window.

Leicester have been keen on scooping up the Nigeria international, while in recent days Manchester United were mooted to be keen on the CSKA Moscow man.

But according to the BBC, the Russian club are determined not to sell Musa in the current window and have closed the door on his exit.

Leicester's latest bid for Musa, which was turned down, is claimed to be £18.7m.

The striker does have a release clause in his contract, but it is set at £22.8m, meaning Premier League sides would have to dig deep and pay it to sign the Nigerian given CSKA Moscow's stance.
