Inter Milan are ready to make one final push to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi this month, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

The winger, whose present contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer, has been heavily linked with a move away from the French champions during the winter transfer window.

Inter, Juventus, Chelsea and Barcelona have all been mooted as possible destinations for Lavezzi, whose agent has also not ruled out the possibility of his client signing a contract extension with PSG.

But Inter have been in constant touch with the player’s representatives, who are demanding a three-year contract with an annual salary of €4m, which the Italian giants are reluctant to pay.

However, the Nerazzurri, who are trying to negotiate the details, will be back for Lavezzi in the summer in case they fail to rope in the former Napoli man in January.
