Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has ruled out the possibility of Ezequiel Lavezzi leaving the club this winter.

The Argentine, whose present contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in the January transfer window.

Inter, Juventus, Chelsea and Barcelona are all interested in roping in Lavezzi, with the Nerazzurri being the frontrunners.

The Italian giants have been in constant touch with the player’s representatives, but it seems Lavezzi will not head to the San Siro this season.

Blanc insisted that PSG have been very clear with the 30-year-old regarding his future at the club as the manager explained that Lavezzi will not be leaving the French champions in the present campaign.

"We have been very clear with him, very, very clear”, he was quoted as saying by Italian outlet FCInterNews.

“I will not discuss about what we talked about, but we have been clear to him from the beginning of the season until now.

“He cannot claim otherwise. We all know that if a player wants to leave, all the parties involved must reach an agreement.

“But at the moment this is not the case, because he is not going away.

"We have had discussions with players at the end of their contracts. We spoke with them and we told them that we could adapt to their positions if we found satisfaction."

Lavezzi, who joined PSG from Napoli in 2012, has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three times and providing an assist.
