Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio has rejoined Sevilla on a loan deal until the end of the season, according to Spain daily Mundo Deportivo.

The 28-year-old, who joined Spurs from Sevilla in 2014, has barely featured in the present campaign.

Fazio has made just one appearance this season when he featured in the 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the League Cup in September.

As a result, his former club have provided Fazio with an escape route back to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

The Argentine, who has thus far failed to make his mark at White Hart Lane, arrived in Sevilla yesterday after Tottenham agreed a deal with the Spanish outfit.
