Lazio are unlikely to part with Ravel Morrison today as manager Stefano Pioli is keen to provide the former Manchester United and West Ham player more opportunities.

The highly rated midfielder has not really settled at any club despite possessing huge talent, owing to his off-field antics.

In 2012, Manchester United sold Morrison to West Ham, where he failed to settle down; during his time at Upton Park, the 22-year-old spent loan stints at Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City.

The youngster joined Lazio on a free transfer in the summer, but is yet to make his mark at the club.

Morrison has thus far clocked up just 151 minutes over seven appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit, starting just once.

And it was reported that Morrison was close to quitting the Biancocelesti in the January transfer window.

However, it seems Pioli wants to provide the former West Ham man further fist team opportunities in the second half of the season, in a bid to prove himself, according to Sky Italia.

Morrison, whose present contract with Lazio runs until 2019, is yet to score a goal for the Italian club.
