Chelsea want Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri to become their next full time manager next summer and have even prepared a contract for the Italian, according to outlet Calcio Mercato.

Guus Hiddink is currently serving as the interim boss at Stamford Bridge, but the club are keen to identify their next full-time manager as soon as possible and it seems they have made their choice.

It has been suggested that the Blues hierarchy have decided to go with Juventus coach Allegri and it has been claimed that a deal is likely to be agreed sooner rather than later.

Chelsea are said to have prepared a four-year contract for the former AC Milan boss which will reach €7.5m per season and are keen to have him in the Stamford Bridge dugout as soon as possible in the summer to start next season’s preparations.

However, Allegri has a contract until 2017 with Juventus and Chelsea will still need to agree a compensation package with the Italian champions before they can take the 48-year-old to west London.

Chelsea sacked Jose Mourinho in November last year after they lost nine of their first sixteen league games and with Champions League qualification looking improbable this season, they want to start afresh next term under a new boss.

Allegri has won two Scudettos with AC Milan and Juventus and guided the latter to the Champions League final against Barcelona last season.

He could become the fifth Italian manager after Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Roberto Di Matteo and Carlo Ancelotti to take charge of the west London outfit.
