Arsenal youth product Kyle Ebecilio, who currently plays for ADO Den Haag, on loan from FC Twente, has compared the playing style of Nottingham Forest and the Gunners.

Ebecilio was on loan with Nottingham Forest for the entire season, but his loan was cut short on deadline day when the Championship club terminated his contract.

The 21-year-old midfielder had only managed to make five appearances for Dougie Freedman during the first half of the season, falling out of favour at the City Ground.

The Netherlands Under-21 international believes he was spoiled at Arsneal, where he was training with the first team, but playing for the second string.

Ebecilio feels that the Gunners cared about attacking football, however, the scenario was different at Nottingham Forest, where the team relied on long balls.

The 21-year-old highlighted that Dutch players like to have the ball at their feet and pass slowly, but with the Championship outfit they were only focused on racing, tackling and working hard.

Ebecilio also underlined that according to his former team-mate Dorus de Vries, Dutch players are considered lazy.

"At Arsenal I was a little spoiled", Ebecilio was quoted as saying by the Nottingham Post.

"Playing with the second team and training with the first. Offensive and cared for football.

"But at Nottingham it was really tough. After training I was devastated.

"We Dutch rather have the ball at our feet. Passing at a slower pace. There it was long ball and racing, working, tackling.

"I was talking about it with Dorus de Vries, my team-mate at Nottingham who has played in England for 10 years.

"Sometimes they think us Dutch seem lazy."

Freedman’s side currently sit in 11th position in the league table, nine points adrift of the playoff spots.
