Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier is happy to play in any position as long as he is able to help the team get a win.

The 22-year-old England international has been used in midfield in the English Premier League by manager Mauricio Pochettino, while he has been played in defence for FA Cup matches.

Dier has managed to make 33 appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit this season, scoring four goals.

The Sporting Lisbon youth product insists that he has played as a defender since he was eight years old and is comfortable in playing in either of the two positions.

Speaking in an interview with Spurs TV, Dier said: “No it’s fine. There’s no problem for me you know, I have played there a lot since I was eight years old, so it’s not something you forget overnight.
