Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he has heard nothing about Daniel Sturridge wanting to leave the club.

It has been suggested that Sturridge is keen to quit Anfield after growing frustrated after the way the club have represented his ongoing injury issues.

But Klopp insists that he has not heard about Sturridge wanting to leave and explained the striker has been back in full training for the last two days, something which is welcome news.

Asked about talk Sturridge wants to leave, Klopp told a press conference: "Daniel has been back in training for two days, normal football training, which is really good for us and good for him.

"I heard nothing [about him wanting to leave the club]", he added.

Klopp also indicated that Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi, all of whom are coming back from injury, could well be fit to return for the club's FA Cup replay against West Ham United – if they do not suffer a setback.

"They need another three sessions and they are available for West Ham. That's the idea if nothing happens in these sessions", the German explained.
