Rangers striker Kenny Miller has credited his recent impeccable form to the team playing well as a whole.

The 36-year-old has scored five goals and picked up three assists in his last five appearances for the Gers in the league.

Mark Warburton’s side have won all of their last seven fixtures, following the 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Falkirk on 19th December.

Miller didn’t enjoy regular first team football in the first half of the season, but has become a mainstay in the Gers’ side since the turn of the year.

The 36-year-old feels that it is the best he has felt this season and he is enjoying the starts he has been getting.

Miller feels that his improvement in form has been partly due to the team doing well and he also believes that some of the players in Waburton’s side are currently enjoying their best form.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Miller said: “No, definitely it is as good as I have been this season.

“Because I say I haven’t had a sustained run in the team this season so enjoying getting the starts I have been getting over the last five or six weeks.

“I feel I have been playing pretty well, again I think that’s a result of the team playing well at the moment and I think there are a lot of the guys playing at their top of the game in the team.”

Following the 2-1 defeat against Falkirk, the Gers have stitched together a run of seven consecutive victories, during which time they have scored 23 goals while conceding only four goals.

The Gers host Kilmarnock at Ibrox tomorrow in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
