Rangers' veteran striker Kenny Miller has insisted that he is enjoying his football at the moment and wants his side to ensure that the Gers finish the season on a high.

The 36-year-old veteran has been in fine form this season, scoring 12 goals while assisting seven more in 25 first team appearances.

Mark Warburton’s side currently sit at the top of the Scottish Championship, eight points ahead of second placed Hibernian, albeit having played a game more.

Following their liquidation in 2012, the Gers had to start their journey to the top-tier from the lowest division of Scottish football.

The Ibrox outfit finally look on course to reach the Scottish top flight after an absence of four years, if they are able to maintain their form until the end of the season.

Miller highlighted that he is always on the back of the manager, if he is not played, and believes that when he has had a run in the team, he has been enjoying his football.

The 36-year-old has urged his team-mates to kick on for the last part of the season to ensure that the campaign ends on a high.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Miller said: “No no no, not at all. I mean again I speak to the manager, I’m always asking why I am not playing and I feel like I have to play and I feel like I can play.

“Again, I have shown over the course of the season as well, as much I have been having a run with the team I think I have been enjoying my football.

“The way the team has been playing this season, it has been great so yes, just happy with the way things are going at the moment.

“We will be looking to kick on the next three months and make sure we finish on a high.”

Scottish Premiership outfit Kilmarnock travel to Ibrox tomorrow to take on Warburton’s side in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
