Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger concedes his side's meeting with Leicester City next weekend is a big game in light of the Foxes' recent results.

The Gunners eased to a 2-0 win away at Bournemouth on Sunday courtesy of goals from Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the first half.

While Arsenal are only third, behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference, they did cut the gap on leaders Leicester to five points ahead of a meeting between the two sides at the Emirates Stadium next Sunday.

Wenger said via his club's site: "In one week Leicester have beaten Liverpool and Manchester City. That means that they suddenly become the favourite to win the Premier League. That makes our game on Sunday a big one."

And the Frenchman believes his side are still in the thick of the title race, while insisting he believes his team can handle the pressure associated with competing for the crown.

"We have been in the title race and we are still in it. We cannot control people’s opinion and we need to show that we believe in it. We have to do it. It is still a long way to go", he explained.

"Leicester City is a favourite and we have a big game at home against them and I hope we have enough quality and nerves to deal with that."

Arsenal thrashed Leicester 5-2 at the King Power Stadium in the earlier fixture between the two clubs this season.

Goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez (hat-trick) and Olivier Giroud put the Foxes to the sword.
