Daniel Sturridge will be in the Liverpool squad for tomorrow night's FA Cup tie against West Ham United, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed, but no decision has been made on whether the striker will play.

The injury prone striker was a surprise inclusion on the substitutes' bench for Liverpool's 2-2 Premier League draw against Sunderland at Anfield on Saturday.

Klopp, who missed the game through illness, explained Sturridge was included due to his impressive showing in training, but the match did not unfold in such a way that the striker could be brought on.

"We didn't decide until now about the starting line-up. We have a very important session", Klopp told a press conference when asked whether Sturridge will play in the replay against West Ham.

"He was fit enough to be on the bench. It was impressive in the last session on Friday night", the German continued.

"The game had a different story and there was no possibility with the early changes."

Fellow returnees Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho are also expected to be involved against West Ham if they do not suffer a setback.

Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw in the first game between the two sides at Anfield, booking a replay in the process.
