Young Bhoy Fiacre Kelleher is looking forward to his first outing at Celtic Park in the UEFA Youth League tonight against Valencia.

A win tonight over the Spaniards will take the Scottish giants to the last 16 of the competition, and the 19-year-old midfielder is looking forward to the occasion of playing at Celtic's iconic home ground.

He admits that it is a massive game for the club’s youth side and playing at Celtic Park makes the occasion even more special, as he looks to be ready for one of the biggest nights of his young career.

“It’s a huge game and the fact that it’s going to be at Celtic Park just adds to the whole occasion”, Kelleher told the club’s official website.

“This will be my first time playing at Celtic Park so it’s going to be a very special moment. The preparations are going very well so now it’s just a case of being ready for Wednesday night.”

There is a chance the Irishman could be given the captain’s armband tonight against Valencia, and while he admits it would be a proud moment, the youngster insisted that he hasn’t wasted too much time thinking about it.

“I haven’t thought too much about whether I’ll lead the team out or not, but it would be a proud moment if that happens.”

Kelleher joined the Celtic academy in 2012 and has nine caps to his name for Ireland Under-19s.
