Chinese side Jiangsu Suning have gone into overdrive on a deal to sign striker Radamel Falcao from Chelsea.

Jiangsu Suning recently did business with the Blues by buying midfielder Ramires from the Premier League club, splashing £25m on the Brazilian.

Now the deep-pocketed Chinese side want Falcao, who is on loan at Chelsea from Ligue 1 club Monaco for the season.

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Jiangsu Suning are working on a deal and using the same representatives who brokered Ramires' switch from Chelsea to China.

Chelsea are claimed to be willing to offload Falcao given his disappointing stint at Stamford Bridge and Jiangsu Suning are hopeful of reaching an agreement with both the Blues and Monaco.

Signing Falcao would be the latest statement of intent from a Chinese side, following a series of big-money moves which have seen stars such as Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira move eastwards.

Chinese sides are increasingly splashing the cash and their transfer window remains open until later this month.
