Ronny Deila has hinted that he may opt to start with two strikers in Celtic’s Scottish Premiership clash with Ross County tomorrow.

The Norwegian linked Leigh Griffiths with new signing Colin Kazim-Richards up front in the 2-0 win over East Kilbride last weekend, with both strikers going on to find the back of the net in the Scottish Cup game.

Kazim-Richards also came on as a second half substitute to play alongside Griffiths, who has scored 29 goals in 36 games this season, in their 2-1 loss to Aberdeen on 3rd February.

And Deila insisted that Celtic have the type of players required to play in a two striker formation, as the manager went on to explain the importance of having several options at his disposal.

“Yes, I think we have players to play in that system”, he said at yesterday’s press conference, when asked if Celtic would play two strikers against Ross County.

“It’s important to have different options we can use during a game so we don’t only have plan A, we have to have plan B and C as well if things are not working out.

“It’s good to have two strikers; we’ll see what we’ll do on Saturday.”

Apart from Kazim-Richards and Griffiths, Celtic, who are currently level on points with Aberdeen at the top of the table, albeit having a game in hand, also have Carlton Cole in the striking department.
