Long-serving Linfield midfielder Jamie Mulgrew has been left buzzing after receiving a message from Rangers and the Scottish club's manager Mark Warburton.

Mulgrew, 29, has turned out for Linfield since 2005 and he is now in his testimonial season with the club due to his long and loyal service.

The midfielder, who has won two senior caps for Northern Ireland, has been congratulated on the feat by Warburton and Rangers.

And being a Rangers fan, the 29-year-old is thrilled the Gers have got in touch to salute his long service to Linfield.

Mulgrew took to Twitter and wrote: "Like to say big thank you to Rangers FC and Mark Warburton for the letter today congratulating me on my testimonial season with Linfield."
