Belgium Under-21s boss Enzo Scifo believes Liverpool linked Dennis Praet is now good enough to move on to play for a top club.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was linked with a move away from Anderlecht during the winter window, and there was speculation that he was almost certain to leave the club with Fiorentina and Liverpool interested.




However, the midfielder stayed put at Anderlecht to continue his education. But Belgium Under-21 manager Scifo feels that the Anderlecht man has the ability to play for a top club and is ready to make his big move away from his homeland.

Scifo, who worked with the midfielder in the Belgium Under-21s, has indicated that Praet is a quality performer, who also has the ability to play consistently at the top level.
 


Speaking about the Anderlecht star, the 49-year-old told Italian outlet Fanta Gazzetta: “About Praet, I can say he is ready to embark on an adventure with a top club.

A product of Genk’s academy, the midfielder joined Anderlecht in 2010 and has made 162 senior appearances for the club.

He has a contract until 2017 with the Belgian heavyweights.
