Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has remained coy over his side’s title challenge, but insisted that his side can beat anyone in the league at the moment after a 2-1 win away at Manchester City.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were labelled as credible title challengers even before today’s visit to the Etihad, but a hard fought win over Manchester City has added more credence to Spurs as a team which could lift the Premier League title in May.

Kane, who expertly converted a penalty kick in the 53rd minute to give Spurs the lead, refused to get into the debate whether Tottenham can win the title, and insisted that the club are treating all the competitions they are involved in with equal importance.

While he dodged the question on Tottenham’s title challenge, he admits that the club are in a confident mood and believe that they can win against any opponent in the league.

When asked about his side’s title challenge, Kane told Sky Sports: "That is up to you lot if we are challengers, we know what we are capable of.
