Chinese outfit Beijing Guoan have confirmed the signing of Galatasaray forward Burak Yilmaz.

The Turkey international, who was heavily linked with a move to West Ham United during the winter transfer window, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Beijing Guoan which will see him at the club until 2019.




Yilmaz has been in fine form for Galatasaray in the present campaign; the striker scored 10 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.

The 30-year-old, who also counts Besiktas and Fenerbahce amongst his former employers, turned out 141 times in total for Galatasaray after joining the club in 2012.
 


He is the latest player to join the cash-rich Chinese Super League from the European leagues, following stars such as, Ramires, Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez and Fredy Guarin.

Yilmaz, who has 42 caps and 19 goals for Turkey to his name, scored 82 times and set up 25 goals for Galatasaray.
