Chelsea starlet Kenedy insists he is ready to play whatever role Blues boss Guus Hiddink wants him to as he looks to continue adapting to life in England.

The 20-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Fluminense in August last year, after the youngster impressed with his performance during the Blues’ pre-season in the USA.

Since making his debut against Crystal Palace, the Brazilian has made 16 appearances across all competitions for Hiddink’s side, scoring on two occasions, including the quickest Premier League goal of the season.

Recognised for his versatility, Kenedy has been played in different roles under the Dutch manager, but the Green and Yellows Under-20 player is open to new roles as he is trying to adapt to life in the English capital.

“In Brazil I played on both sides, so it was not too hard coming here to play on the left and to go on the outside rather than coming inside”, Kenedy told Chelsea’s website.

“Playing different roles is also one of the important learning steps for me here and the best way to learn about those roles and add new bits to my game is by playing in those positions.

“I'm trying to adapt to the weather here, but it's very cold compared to Brazil!

"I've been used to it being very hot all my life so it's taking a bit of time.

"It's very cold, but it's just one of those things a lot of players coming here from hot countries have adapted to and I'm sure I will be no different soon”, Kenedy further added.
