Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies is hoping he will be back in the squad when Wales take on the Ukraine in an international friendly on Monday.

The young left-back suffered a blow to his head during the Lilywhites' Europa League game against Borussia Dortmund on 17th March, after he collided with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and was eventually taken off the field in the 13th minute of the 2-1 defeat at White Hart Lane.

Having already missed out on the Dragons 1-1 draw against Northern Ireland on Thursday, the Welsh international is hopeful of making a comeback, insisting that he will be able to get back on the field for Chris Coleman’s side soon.

“I should be fit enough now. I've done a lot of work this week without any problems”, Davies was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“So hopefully I'll be able to get a run-out in the game on Monday”, the 22-year-old added
