Fulham forward Moussa Dembele, who came close to signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the winter transfer window, has admitted he dreams of turning out for hometown side Paris Saint-Germain.

The 19-year-old spent time in PSG's youth set-up before leaving to link up with Fulham in 2012. He has since established himself at Craven Cottage, turning in accomplished performances in the Championship and attracting attention from a number of clubs.

The 19-year-old's contract expires in the summer and Spurs could yet return in an effort to bag his services, but Dembele has sent out a come-and-get-me message to former club PSG.

Speaking to French sports daily L'Equipe, Dembele said: "Like every Parisian, I dream of playing for PSG. Why couldn't it happen some day? If they want me."

The Frenchman concedes that when he left PSG the amount of playing time he would have received at the Parc des Princes came into the picture.

"I left in 2012 when [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and [Ezequiel] Lavezzi joined the club. I would have received little playing time as PSG were not counting on me."

It remains to be seen whether Dembele is on PSG's radar and the French champions are thinking about a potential move for their former starlet.

So far this season Dembele has clocked up 39 appearances in all competitions for Fulham, hitting the back of the net on 14 occasions and providing five assists for his team-mates.
