1.FC Nurnberg manager Rene Weiler has revealed that he prefers Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp over Manchester City bound Pep Guardiola.

Klopp left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season and wanted a sabbatical from football, but Liverpool managed to convince the German to take the reins of the Merseyside giants, after they showed the door to Brendan Rodgers in October last year.

While performances and results have been inconsistent, many are of the view that Liverpool are moving in the right direction under the ex-BVB boss, and could become a force again next season.

On the other hand Guardiola is on his way to a third successive league title with Bayern Munich, and is set to take charge of Manchester City in the Premier League next season.
