Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to take Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic to Stamford Bridge in the summer, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Croatian international, who joined Inter Milan from Wolfsburg last summer, has been in good form for his new employers in the present campaign.

Perisic has thus far made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Italian giants, scoring eight times and providing five assists.

Conte, who will step down from his post as Italy’s head coach after the European Championship in the summer, was present at San Siro to watch Perisic in action against Napoli last weekend.

Inter Milan are aware of Chelsea’s interest in Perisic, with Nerazzurri manager Roberto Mancini claiming that the 27-year-old is not for sale.

However, a big-money offer from the reigning Premier League champions could break Inter Milan’s resistance.

Perisic, whose present contract with Inter Milan runs until 2020, has 43 caps and 11 goals for Croatia to his name.
