Manchester United are prepared to pay up to €60m, payable over four years, to sign Renato Sanches from Benfica, according to Sky Italia.

The Red Devils have become enchanted by the 18-year-old midfielder and are desperate to win the race to snap up the young Portugal international.




And €60m is being eyed as the sum to be paid to Benfica, over four years, to win the race for Sanches' signature.

No official agreement has yet been reached for the Portuguese, but Manchester United are confident they are in pole position to sign Sanches.
 


He has attracted interest from elsewhere, his performances not going unnoticed, and Barcelona sent a scout to take in his display against Rio Ave at the weekend.

Manchester United have long been linked with moving for Sanches, but it remains to be seen who will be in charge at Old Trafford in the summer when any decision over completing a deal for the starlet would need to be sanctioned.
