Hatem Ben Arfa, in a hint towards a move to bigger and better things, insists that he is convinced his career is only going to progress on an upwards curve given he has now got his momentum back.

The Frenchman, who has been linked with a move away from Nice in the summer, with Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan all interested in snapping him up, has scored 18 goals and provided five assists in 34 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit in the present campaign.

Ben Arfa previously failed to make his mark in England during his stints at Newcastle United and Hull City – but he is now oozing confidence due to his current form.

The 29-year-old has been a much improved player since joining Nice in January 2015 and in a potential nod to moving on to bigger and better things, the Frenchman says he is convinced his career is only going one way.

“My career has been a rollercoaster, there have been trying times”, he told French sports daily L’Equipe.

“But the good time has finally arrived, I’m happy. I hope it continues.

“I don’t see how it will not continue. I work hard, I have momentum and it will be difficult to stop me.”

With his present contract with Nice set to expire in the summer, a number of top European clubs are eyeing roping in the talented Frenchman for free next season.

He has 15 caps and two goals for France to his name and has also represented the nation at various youth levels.
