Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths admits that the club are desperate to get over the line and all but secure the league title against Hearts this Saturday.

While Celtic have disappointed in the cup competitions, both at home and in Europe, the club are on the verge of winning their fifth league title in a row and just need a win this weekend to secure the Premiership.

The Bhoys missed a golden opportunity to put their hands firmly on the league title when they drew against Ross County at home on Sunday and Griffiths admits that it was a disappointing result for the club.

However, he is confident about their ability to bounce back and is keen to get the job done away from home at Hearts, who are currently third in the league table, 17 points adrift of the league leaders.

The Celtic striker said in a press conference: “We had a frustrating game on Sunday but need to bounce back at a difficult venue on Saturday.
