Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that the club are not currently pursuing the signature of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The Bianconeri were heavily linked with a move for the Uruguayan last summer, and with the transfer window approaching, the club are reportedly keen to reignite their interest in the PSG striker.

The club are said to have met the player’s representatives twice in the last few months, and it has been suggested that the former Napoli man is keen to return to Italy with the recently minted Italian champions this summer.

However, Marotta sought to dial down on all the rumours regarding Cavani and insisted that for the moment the club are not considering making a move for the PSG striker in the summer transfer window.

When asked about a rumoured move for Cavani, the Juventus CEO told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli: “There is no possibility at the moment.
