Barcelona have entered the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham linked Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

The striker, who was heavily linked with a move away from Lyon last summer, signed a fresh contract extension in August.

But with the transfer window approaching, rumours about his possible departure from Lyon are once again on the rise.

The Premier League duo of Spurs and West Ham are all interested in snapping up the Frenchman, whose present contract with Lyon runs until 2019; Atletico Madrid are also reportedly keeping close tabs on Lacazette.

However, Barcelona are the latest club to be linked with the 24-year-old, and it has been also claimed that the Catalan giants have also contacted the player’s agent over a possible transfer in the summer.
