Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has claimed that former Blues boss Jose Mourinho pushes his players to be at their best every day, which makes him a special coach.

The Portuguese brought the former Arsenal midfielder back to England with Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, and Fabregas played a defining role in bringing the Premier League title to Stamford Bridge for the first time in five years last season.

However, Chelsea fell off the tracks this term, and after a disastrous first few months of the season, Mourinho was sacked in December; Guus Hiddink was appointed as interim manager, with Antonio Conte set to take the reins of the club this summer.

Despite Mourinho’s disastrous last few months as Chelsea manager, Fabregas retains immense respect for his former manager and insisted that there are qualities in the Portuguese that make him one of the best coaches in the business.

While speaking to German broadcaster Sport1 about Mourinho, the midfielder said: “What makes him special? He has a big target, always wants to win and give his all every day.
