Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has revealed that several clubs have already contacted his agent to sign him for next season.

The 30-year-old, whose present contract with Liverpool is set to expire in the summer, has made just three senior appearances for the club in the present campaign, with all of those coming in the FA Cup.

Enrique’s last appearance for Liverpool was in late January when he came on as a late substitute in the goalless draw with West Ham.

And the Spaniard, who is not in the plans of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, insisted that he is in a good place physically, with the full-back stating that he is eager to play.

“I don’t know if any club have submitted an offer, but I think several clubs have contacted my agent to sign me next season”, he told Spanish daily Marca, when asked if other clubs have expressed desire to sign him in the summer.
