Michel Vorm has revealed that he has rarely seen such a desolate dressing room after Tottenham Hotspur only managed a 1-1 draw against West Brom on Monday night at White Hart Lane.

With Leicester winning handsomely last weekend against Swansea, Spurs needed three points against Tony Pulis’ men to maintain the pressure on the Foxes and keep the title race going into the last few weeks of the season.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men only managed a point at home and now Leicester just need one win from their remaining three league games to complete one of the unlikeliest title wins in recent history.

Vorm admits that he has rarely seen a more disappointed dressing room after a game, and while he pointed out that it is not all over yet, the Dutchman conceded that Tottenham have realised that the chances of winning the league title are slowly slipping away.

“This is football, you win some and lose some, but the disappointment in the dressing room was the biggest since I’ve been here”, the Dutch goalkeeper told the club’s official website.

“We all want to compete until the end, but you feel something slipping away.

"It’s not over yet but you want to be in the strongest position for as long as you can and if you see how we played in the first half, we were so good.

“It’s tough, but there is so much to look forward to.”

Leicester could be crowned champions of England by the time Tottenham come out at Stamford Bridge on Monday night to take on Chelsea.
