Liverpool loanee Allan has revealed that he may never realise his dream of turning out for the Reds because obtaining a UK visa is a difficult process.

The 19-year-old joined Liverpool from Internacional last summer, but due to work permit issues, the starlet was sent out on a loan deal to Finnish club SJK.

After helping SJK to a league title, Allan was again shipped out on loan during the winter transfer window, this time to Belgian outfit STVV.

The midfielder, who was recently named in the Brazil Under-20 squad that will take part in a tournament in Suwon, has thus far made nine appearances in all competitions for STVV.

And Allan insisted that although he is looking forward to playing for Liverpool in the future, he insists visa problems could put a spanner in the works; Allan does not have an EU passport, which means earning the right to turn out for Liverpool is a more difficult proposition.

However, the Brazilian is aware that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff are keeping close tabs on him.

“Klopp did not speak with me directly, but guys from Liverpool gave me some information”, Allan told STVV’s TV channel.

“But Klopp and the technical staff are following my games and training.

“I don't know about the future. A lot depends on my visa. It's not easy to get a visa in England.

“That's too bad because I look forward to playing for Liverpool.

“It's a big and nice club. But Liverpool will decide about my future.”
