Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has insisted that he is not tempted to accept any other offers as he wants to continue to manage at Elland Road.

With two games left in the season, the Scot’s future at the club still remains unclear and while many feel Leeds’ recent form should see him continue next season, president Massimo Cellino is playing his cards close to his chest.

There has been speculation that Evans will have no shortage of job offers if Leeds decide against extending his contract, and he has also been linked with a move to take over from Ronny Deila at Celtic, along with the Nottingham Forest post.

However, the Scot insisted that he wants to continue as Leeds boss and has never felt the need to listen to any other offers yet, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at Elland Road.

Evans stressed that he wants to win the last two games of the season to further enhance his credentials to continue at the club.

When asked had he been tempted to accept another offer, the Leeds boss said in a press conference: “I think the temptation 100 per cent is that you are somewhere else and Leeds United decide to pick the phone up.

“That’s temptation, that’s excitement, that’s wow! Why would you think of going anywhere else, if you have got that?

“At the minute I am head coach of Leeds United, certainly in place until Saturday week when we go to Preston and I will make sure that we produce two performances that give me a better chance.

“For every reason in the world I want to be head coach of Leeds United.”

Evans could be managing Leeds for the last time at Elland Road when Charlton Athletic come to town tomorrow.
