Louis van Gaal has delived an update on his Manchester United squad ahead of this Sunday's Premier League fixture at Old Trafford against Leicester City.

The Red Devils know Leicester will win the title if they claim all three points at Old Trafford, but the game is just as important for Van Gaal's men, who are still chasing a top four finish to secure Champions League football for next season.




And the Dutchman is pleased to report he has no new injury troubles, while he also explained left-back Luke Shaw could well be fit to feature in the FA Cup final, where Manchester United are due to lock horns with Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace.

"We don’t have any injuries, except Shaw, who is already not injured any more but is building up, and [Bastian] Schweinsteiger", he told a press conference.
 


"He can, maybe, but it shall be difficult because he has to play first a lot of matches in the second team", Van Gaal said, addressing Shaw's chances of an FA Cup final appearance.

"We have to wait and see because you cannot say anything. It’s going very well with him", he added.

Van Gaal's men currently sit in fifth spot in the Premier League, five points behind fourth placed Arsenal and third placed Manchester City, while they have a game in hand on both sides.

Leicester sit top of the table, seven points ahead of second placed Tottenham Hotspur with just three games to play.
