Chris Sutton feels that Newcastle United have the perfect game in their fight against relegation next weekend, with a trip to Aston Villa.

Managerless Aston Villa went down to a 3-2 defeat away at out-of-form Watford earlier today to stay on just 16 points at the bottom of the Premier League.

Villa have an astonishing goal difference of minus 45, comfortably more than the bottom placed teams in Italy's Serie A, Spain's La Liga and Germany's Bundesliga.

Newcastle climbed out of the relegation zone by beating Crystal Palace today, but still need to keep winning and face a trip to Villa Park next weekend in the first of their remaining two games.

And Sutton thinks they could not have a better game to go into. He said on the BBC's Final Score programme: "If you wanted any team to play it's Villa!"

The former Chelsea striker also feels that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez is turing the ship around at St. James' Park, with momentum now in place at the club.

"That's what they brought him in for and these last four games, two wins, two draws, they have hope now.

"You listen to the atmosphere, how big a win that is", Sutton added.
