Lazio are considering making a move for Chelsea and Liverpool linked winger Hatem Ben Arfa, who is also generating interest from Bayern Munich.

The former Newcastle United winger struggled during his time in England and his career was in doldrums when the club cancelled his contract in January last year after he returned from an unsuccessful loan spell at Hull.

He officially joined Nice last summer on a one-year contract and has been a revelation back in France, scoring 18 goals and providing five assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

With his contract expiring at the end of the season, Ben Arfa is again back in demand and there are suggestions that Chelsea and Liverpool are planning to take him to England in the summer.

Bayern Munich are also reportedly keeping tabs on his situation, and according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the winger also has suitors lined up for him in Italy.

It has been claimed Lazio are considering making a move for the France international, but they are not the only Serie A side on his trail, as there have been suggestions that AC Milan and Inter Milan are also keeping a close watch on Ben Arfa.

The 29-year-old is not expected to sign a new contract with Nice and it seems he will have a number of offers to consider once the transfer window opens in the summer.
